Answers to Prayers / Praises
Kristi & Tom Covy and their Kids:
Please pray for Kristi, Tom and their kids as they mourn the loss of their unborn child. Also pray for recovery from the Kristi's surgery.
Wendy's Immediate and Extended Family:
Please pray for Wendy as well as her immediate and extended family as they mourn the passing of her Grandmother. Wendy and Michael were on vacation down in Florida when this occured, so I am unsure of all the details, however as more information is shared I will update this prayer request.
Bonnie:
Bonnie is a friend of Jennifer's from PT school. She, over the years has had a pretty hard life. She's been in and out of "bad" relationships and overall has really struggled with life although she may not see it herself. About two years ago her daughter, Katie, was diagnosed with Lukemia. Shortly after this we lost touch with her during our move from New Pal down to Nashville. Yesterday, Jennifer received a phone call out of the blue from Bonnie who stated that Katie had passed away from Lukemia earlier this summer. Please pray for Bonnie, pray for the comfort and peace that only Christ can provide in this devistating and painful time. Please also pray for her overall life situation as she typically falls into a co-deoendent role within her already poor relationships.
Madeline:
Madeline is the mother of Annette McDaniel who was diagnosed with lung cancer 4 months ago. She has opted to not take treatment for this and currently resides at a hospice/nursing home. Annette's request is that we pray that the Lord keeps her comfortable and takes her home quickly.
Madeline:
In Matthew 21:22 it says "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." and so it is with Annette's mother Madeline. As our prayers were asked in love and reverence for Madeline's life and for the honor and glory of our Lord Jesus Christ, He has answered this prayer on Tuesday September 30th 2008. Madeline passed comfortably in the night and is now home with her Savior. Glory be to God!
Michelle:
Michelle is the sister of Annette McDaniel who besides working through the foreseeable loss of her mother is also dealing with the loss of her boyfriend of 9 years. She is now a single mother and is struggling with the thought of being without these individuals.
John Wykoff:
John Wykoff is the father of Kristi Covey and is currently recovering from throat surgery. John by trade does interior painting and wall paper hanging so due to his surgery he currently unable to generate an income. In addition to praying for physical and financial healing, he also needs prayers spiritually and for his marriage, which Kristi describes as two roommates living together.
Cheyenne Whittemore:
Cheyenne Whittemore is the 9 year old daughter of Dave and Steph Whittemore. We were just notified that Cheyenne has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. The tumor is located behind the nasal sinuses and eye sockets and because of this surgery would mean sure blindness. Wanting to save this for last resort, Cheyenne will be going through 70 weeks of Chemo in hopes that the tumor will go away. For updated information on Cheyennes' condition you can click here. Please pray not only for physical, emotional and spiritual strength and healing for Cheyenne, but also for Dave and Steph. Also pray that the Lord would work through the vast number of the doctors and nurses that this family will be in contact with.
